The Unshakable Foundation Part 2 on 2 December 2007

Hebrews 12:25-29 (New International Version)

25 See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? 26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, "Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens."[a] 27 The words "once more" indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our "God is a consuming fire."

3 Basic Constitutions of God are:
1) Family unit
2) Church
3) Government

3. Social Crisis

Family unit is being shaken up. Shared values, shared lifestyles, addiction to online gaming and violence gaming is on the rise. Police brutality in the US. New York police are on the takes of bribes. There is a huge market for illicit sex, violence and bloodshed.

Investment in sin is the ín’ thing. For example: bull-fighting (originated in Spain where a matador uses a red flag to irritate the bull to charge after him), cock-fighting ( this can be found in Thailand where tons of people place bets over the bloodshed fights of the cocks), casino, stock markets, sinful pleasures allowed by the government, immorality, child prostitution and AIDS.

1st emergence of AIDS is from the gay community. Not all gays fight for their rights.

Rebuke unnecessary spirits in the mighty name of Jesus.

Family unit is the social blues of our society. For example: Abused family, people who love evil endlessly, people who live aimlessly resulting in having suicidal thoughts and Inequality which means the poor becoming very poor , the rich becoming very rich and the super rich becoming super rich.
Live by the precepts of God by trusting Him.

4. Energy Crisis

Oil production is peaking up and decline. When we use excessive oils, we will create global warming. When there is an acute shortage, there will be war and economic breakdown. Oil will be used as a political weapon.
5. Economic uncertainties

7 Factors that trigger economic uncertainties

1) Continuous supply of affordable oil.
2) No major wars
3) No major national upheavals around the world.
4) No major eruptions in the Middle East.
5) No major natural disasters around the globe.
6) No major crop failures.
7) Control of pestilences.

Our heart must not be anchored on the troubles of this world, but our heart must be anchored on God.

We need to be:
1) Optimistic about Christ’s coming.
2) Optimistic in Christ’s character.
3) Optimistic that God will hold our hand.

Trust in the infinite power of God. He is the Alpha and the Omega. Make sure that our value and priority system are right.

2 Timothy 1:12 (New International Version)

12 That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day.

If we have Jesus in our heart, when the world go down , then our heart will go up.
